About this webpage

Thank you for visiting the CrossControl web site. Please read the information below to help you get the most out of this browsing experience.

  • The pages on this site may use a general JavaScript statement. Pages are best viewed with JavaScript activated.

Cookies are small text files stored on a computer hard drive. Websites can use cookies to recognise repeat visitors, facilitate the visitor’s ongoing access to and use of the site, and allow a site to track usage behavior and compile aggregate data that will allow content improvements. Generally cookies work by assigning a unique number to the visitor that has no meaning outside the assigning site. If a visitor does not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows the visitor to deny or accept the cookie feature.

Different kinds of Cookies

Two types of cookies are used on the CrossControl web site; session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary and are eliminated when the visitor close all browser windows. Persistent cookies can remain on the visitors hard drive indefinitely (how long will depend on the lifetime of the specific cookie) and continue to be accessed via the browser.

How we use Cookies

CrossControl uses cookie technology but only to obtain non-personal information from online visitors in order to improve the online experience and facilitate their visit within the web site. Cookies in themselves do not identify the visitor; they can only send information about e.g. interaction with the web site, which operating system and what web browser that has been used.

Cookies and personal information

CrossControl does not use cookies to store personal information about the visitor, and will make no attempt to identify visitors through use of cookies.

How to refuse and delete cookies

Most web browsers allow you to manage your cookie preferences. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, or delete certain cookies. In general you should also be able to manage similar technologies by using your browser’s preferences.
Please note that if you choose to block cookies, the due functioning of the Webpage may be affected.
