Determining currently installed versions of the OS, SS, CCAux and sub controllers

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly versionPDF versionPDF version

To determine the current versions of specific software on the display do the following:

  • Log into the display via 'ssh' ('ssh root@displayIPAddress')
  •  Type 'ccsettingsconsole --version' into the command line

The 'ccsettingsconsole' is a terminal interface to our CCAux libraries in the displays which allow us to access and modify display specific hardware and software.  This command will show the installed versions of many software components and should print something similar to the following in the terminal:

	# ccsettingsconsole --version
	ccsettingsconsole 2.7.2 build 257
	getFPGAVersion: Not supported
	FrontVersion: 1.0.2.0
	SSVersion: 1.0.8.0
	CCAuxVersion: 2.7.3.0
	getCCAuxDrvVersion: Not supported
	OSVersion: 1.3.6.255
