Setting up Bluetooth on a CCpilot All-Integrated

  1. Start CC Settings and click telematics
  2. Enable bluetooth and select power on at startup
  3. Type:
    #modprobe btusb
  4. Now start the service by calling:
    # /etc/init.d/bluetooth start
    Starting Bluetooth...
    Bluetooth power set to: ENABLED
  5. Run hciconfig to see it is all up and running:
    # hciconfig
    hci0: Type: BR/EDR Bus: USB
    BD Address: 00:07:80:5C:09:BA ACL MTU: 310:10 SCO MTU: 64:8
    UP RUNNING
    RX bytes:340 acl:0 sco:0 events:11 errors:0
    TX bytes:38 acl:0 sco:0 commands:11 errors:0
  6. Enable some other Bluetooth device and scan for it.
    # hcitool -i hci0 scan
    Scanning ...
    E8:15:0E:EF:80:11 Windows Phone
